How Plus Ultra Limited collects, uses and protects your personal data when you shop with POLOCOMPLUS®.

This Privacy Notice explains how Plus Ultra Limited ("we", "us", "our"), operator of the POLOCOMPLUS® online store, collects, uses, discloses and safeguards your personal information when you visit our website or make a purchase. We process personal data in accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) of Hong Kong and, where applicable, the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other consumer privacy laws such as the CCPA.

• Identity & contact data: name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing address;
• Order data: products purchased, order value, order history;
• Payment data: processed securely by our payment providers (e.g. Shopify Payments, PayPal). We never receive or store your full card number;
• Communications: messages you send to our support team.

Information collected automatically

• Device & usage data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, referral source;
• Cookies & similar technologies: used for cart functionality, analytics and advertising measurement (see Section 6).

2. How we use your information

• To process, fulfill and deliver your orders, and send order-related notifications (performance of a contract);
• To provide customer support and handle returns and refunds;
• To prevent fraud and secure our store (legitimate interests);
• To send marketing emails only with your consent, which you can withdraw anytime via the unsubscribe link;
• To analyze and improve our website, products and campaigns;
• To comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations.

3. Sharing your information

We never sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the store, under contractual confidentiality obligations:

• Shopify Inc. — our e-commerce platform and hosting provider;
• Payment processors — Shopify Payments, PayPal and card networks;
• Fulfillment & shipping partners — to produce, pack and deliver your order;
• Analytics & advertising partners — such as Google and Meta, for measurement and, where consented, personalized advertising;
• Authorities — where required by applicable law or valid legal process.

4. International transfers

As we operate from Hong Kong and work with global partners, your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

5. Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above — typically for the duration of your customer relationship plus the period required by Hong Kong tax, accounting and limitation rules (generally up to 7 years for transaction records) — after which it is deleted or anonymized.

We use essential cookies (cart, checkout, security), analytics cookies and, with your consent where legally required, marketing cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where displayed, our cookie banner. Disabling essential cookies may prevent checkout from working.

We protect your data with SSL/TLS encryption, PCI-DSS compliant payment processing, access controls and vetted service providers. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, but we work continuously to safeguard your information.

9. Children

Our store is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on this page with its revision date. Material changes will be communicated where required by law.
